A docent led tour with Park Ranger, Eric Hough.  Park Ranger Eric guides us on a historic walk through an oasis of Arizona’s rare ecosystems.  The Preserve straddles one of the few places where the 100 mile long river flows above ground. Beginning in the 1800’s, this one time ranch transformed into  what is now a visitor center hosting Historic Palms, Figs, and White Mulberry Trees.  Join us to experience this beautiful shaded trail system.  Most of the trails are handicapped friendly and flat. There is only one strenuous trail that is steep.

More on this historical area after sign up.  This event is limited to 15 members.  It is open to AAS/DFC members with priority given to DFC members.  You must be signed up by 3/15/2020.  Please check your calendar before you sign up to make sure you are good to go on this adventure.
