Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Join the chapter on a trip to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum which brings together plants from around the world's varied dry land desert environments displayed alongside unspoiled Sonoran Desert vegetation. This location rates 5-Stars on Google.  The trip begins at 10 am with a docent lead tour, so please allow adequate driving time.  The event ends loosely around 1 pm depending on group participation and questions.  The tour is limited to 15 participants of AAS/DFC with priority given to Desert Foothills Chapter members.  The cost is $15 per member for admission.  Contact Mary Kearney for signup and further questions after formal class announcement.  maryk92@aol.com

Please remember classes, workshops, and trips are open to current AAS members only with DFC members having priority.  There is “no” registration on the day of the activity.  There is “no” preregistration for any activity prior to formal announcement.
