DFC-AAS Workshop 09/30/2022 10:00A-about 1:00P
An Overview of Pottery Types in the Central Arizona Tradition
Scott Wood, retired Tonto National Forest archaeologist, gives a workshop on Central Arizona traditional pottery. Scott authored a paper that acts as the "go to" reference for pottery in the Central Arizona tradition. Scott's seminars include information sheets for pottery identification as well as pottery sherd samples with an opportunity for each work group to identify their samples of pottery types. This represents a terrific hands-on learning opportunity.
