Native Plant Walk/Hike

Join instructor Al Cornell in the Sedona area for a native plant walk and hike.  While some plants maybe the similar to the Cave Creek area, the hike is helpful to expand your native plant knowledge with another unique area of the state.  The hike begins at 9 am so allow adequate drive time to the Sedona area.  The event ends loosely around 1 pm or until all participants are satisfied.  The trip requires the usual hiking foot-ware, lots of water, food, proper dress, and sun screen.  Hiking sticks are a personal preference but all the rules for safe hiking and adequate physical conditioning are appropriate.  There are a limited amount of slots available, so contact Mary Kearney as soon as possible.

Classes, Workshops, Special Events and Expanded Field Trips:  Mary Kearney is the primary contact for classes, workshops, special events or trips at and the only place to sign up or get more information. Please remember classes, workshops, and trips are open to current AAS members only with DFC members having priority.  There is “no” registration on the day of the activity.  There is “no” preregistration for any activity prior to formal announcement.
