Chapter Meetings
The Little Colorado River chapter of AAS will meet on Monday, March 19 at the Casa Malpais Museum on main street in Springerville. The bookmark judging will begin there at 6 pm so all the bookmarks and the judges need to be there by 6. The business meeting will begin at 6:30 and the program at 7 pm. Our speaker will be Dr. Miles Gilbert talking about his new book, Tales of the Buffalo Hunters. His previous book, Getting a Stand, also dealt with buffalo hunting. Miles is familiar to many of us from his days as archaeologist as Casa Malpais. We will be meeting Miles for dinner at 5:30 at Java Blues coffe shop, right across the street from the museum. Everyone is welcome to join us there dinner and/or conversation.
