Book Club Meetings: A group of our members have formed a discussion group which meets about 5 times a year to discuss books of a historical nature….we schedule these meetings all around the county.

Volunteer Work:

Amerind Foundation and Museum: Six of our members volunteered over 140 hours of work at the Amerind Museum cataloguing items and doing Lab work.

Archaeological Expo in Tubac: Ten of our members worked in the BLM booth at Tubac for our advisor Jane Pike Childress. We provided several activities for children and information on the San Pedro River and its archaeological Riches.

Fairbank road clean up several of our members clean up a mile of highway 82 near Fairbank twice a year. We also help out with the annual Fairbank Reunion and several of our members have worked on restoration projects in the school house.

Terente: Several members of our chapter have helped stabilize the Spanish Fort located on the BLM San Pedro Riparian Area.

Many of our members are also involved with the Site Stewart Program, Les Chapman is the Regional Coordinator, and attends our board meetings in that capacity.
